On Thursday, March 3, 2022, we held our regular business meeting at our normal time with a Large group of Brothers! Brother Senior Deacon, Steve Lourigan counted 52 members present and a handful of Visitors.

As we do during all of our meetings, we discussed health and happiness, sickness and distressed, correspondence received, and read the name(s) for any petitions we received. The Meeting Minutes from February 2022 were read aloud, Secretary’s report was given, Old business was discussed, new business was introduced, the Treasure’s report was read, and Work for the Month was set.

By now, most of you may have noticed that Boyleston Lodge recently updated and refreshed our website. If you noticed above, we now have several different domains that will get you to the same place. Our Social Media Chair and Steward, Brother Chris Slaughter has pioneered this undertaking and has made multiple enhancements that make our website easier to navigate and optimized for viewing on a multitude of different devices. Another invaluable feature of our new website you may have noticed is the ability to subscribe for the latest news and events; as well as, also RSVP to various events. If you haven’t yet visited our updated website, GO; take a peek and click around. Of course, it goes without saying that for many years Brother Robin Olds lovingly donated his time and money to ensure Boyleston Lodge even had a website. Thank you to Robin for laying the foundation and the many years of behind-the-scenes service.

The few maintenance items around the Lodge presented last month are still being tabled at the moment and the Building Committee is meeting and discussing the best pathway forward. The items mentioned last month were regarding the Cook Shed window coverings and the removal of the white wooden fence which parallels the railroad tracks.
